As part of a National campaign The Australian Institute of Personal Trainers (AIPT) has opened up their personal training campus in warrnambool and is holding a campus launch on Friday January 29th from 6.30pm.

With Australia's growing obesity concerns and an ever increasing number of television programs focussed on health and weight loss, the demand for qualified personal trainers has doubled.

This has lead to fitness centres employing under qualified staff, ultimately creating problems for the industry as a whole. The AIPT is changing that with the opening of their colleges and campuses around Australia, which includes Townsville, Melbourne, Rockhampton, Wagga wagga, Sydney, cental coast, Bendigo, Hervey bay and Adelaide.

These campuses are run by elite, qualified personal trainers with many years of experience in the fitness industry.

Louise Richards, owner of Logans Beach Spa & Fitness and director of the Warrnambool campus says "We are committed to raising the standard and improving the profile of personal trainers around the country and ensuring they are qualified to Australian standards. The campus is situated in a fully functional fitness centre in warrnambool and is currently taking registrations and enrollments. There is a special campus launch being held on January 29th, which welcomes people interested in pursuing personal training as a career. The launch will explain how to become a leader in the fitness industry, how to gain the right qualifications and how to obtain employment.
