Your instructor Bill O'Keefe
Yogi Bill completed his Yoga training through the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) under Valda Moore in 1989 and was awarded a Diploma in this field and has been teaching for most of the time since. Yogi Bill has been regularly studying and fine tuning his teaching and has developed a unique routine which works on the total body, mind, spirit concept; working from the tip of the toes to the top of the head. Different routines are introduced as required dependant upon the interests and capabilities of the group and individual.
The Yoga taught is called Hatha Yoga as described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. All levels of students are taught together with specific modification of postures taught on an individual basis with students asked to do their personal best. Private personal tuition is also available. Postures are demonstrated, instruction is given and adjustments made as required.
Yogi Bill has also developed a fun children’s class, teaching at local primary schools through out the South West and has been regularly invited for repeat performances.
Student’s with varying health issues have reported gaining great benefit from Yogi Bill’s classes with back/shoulder pain reduced or no longer experienced, alleviation of depression, improved flexibility, strength and body tone and a deep sense of peace and calm leading to students feeling “On Top of the World”. Pregnant women have also reported that the Yoga postures have helped them through their pregnancy.
