Terms & Conditions
Expiry Dates:
Memberships are available in 12 month periods and are valid for that time from the date of purchase or the commencement date recorded in the books of Logans Beach Retreat and Day Spa. The Spa may extend the expiry date after a member has made application in the prescribed form temporarily to suspend membership according to the terms and conditions below.
Suspensions:
Members who wish to apply to suspend their membership must provide a written application in a form prescribed by the Spa. A 12 month membership will have a minimum 14 days and maximum of 8 weeks suspension. Only 2 suspension periods are allowed per membership.
Cancellation/Refunds:
Members may apply for a cancellation of membership. Members who pay membership fees by direct debit from their bank account may only cancel their direct debit payment arrangements after the Spa has notified them of the granting of their applications for cancellation. We will ask that we have 1 months written notice and will cancel the membership once a minimum of 4 months has been deducted. There is a $50 cancellation penalty for memberships if cancelled before 12 months period has ended.
Payments
Members may pay the membership fees by cheque, cash, or by direct debit arrangement with EziDebit. Payments are accepted via Ezidebit weekly, fortnightly and monthly. If a payment deaults it will be automatically added to your next scheduled direct debit date.
Transfer and Extension of Memberships:
Memberships are not transferable. Members can extend the term of their membership.
Cooling off Period:
All new members are entitled to trial the facilities obligation free for a period of 7 days after the purchase of the membership. During this time members may withdraw their membership by written notice to the Spa whereupon membership fees will be refunded by the Spa minus an administration fee the Spa may retain at their discretion. During the same seven day period a member may apply in writing to the Spa to upgrade his or her existing membership.
Use of Monthly Day Spa Treatment Vouchers and Discounts:
Quarterly Day Spa Treatment vouchers are and will expire at the end of each quarter. Each quaerterly voucher must be redeemed in full in any one visit to the Day Spa each quarter. The quartley vouchers and the day spa and product discounts can only be used for Logans Beach Day Spa treatments and products, and excludes Cosmedi-Spa services and treatments. The quarterly Day Spa treatment voucher cannot be used in conjunction with the treatment and product discounts. The quarterly Day Spa treatment voucher and the treatment and product discounts cannot be used on gift vouchers, day spa specials or other offers on products or treatments.
Membership Cards:
All members must present their membership card upon entry to the Spa. The Spa may refuse entry if a current card is not presented on entry. The membership card is not assignable to another person and any misrepresentation or misuse may result in cancellation of membership.
Members Privacy:
All information contained on the membership and consultation forms of the Spa will remain the property of the Spa and will be kept confidential.
Change to Member Details:
Members must notify the Spa of any changes to bank account details (if the member is paying by direct debit), address and contact details. Any changes to membership details by a member must be made and signed by the member at the Spa to ensure confidentially of account details and accuracy of the information.
Children
Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the Spa facilities, however the Spa may admit children under this age if they are accompanied and supervised by an adult member and are undergoing massage or beauty treatments. Persons over the age of 16 years but under the age of 18 years may apply for membership in the name of the parent or guardian of that person. In this case the parent or guardian will be responsible for the financial obligations of membership and both the minor and the parent or guardian will be bound by all the other terms and conditions of membership and the rules of the Spa
Regulations
A member must at all times comply with the rules prescribed by the Spa. The Spa may suspend or expel any member who fails to comply with the Spa rules or who in the opinion of the Spa behaves in an improper manner or in a manner detrimental to the best interests of the Spa. Smoking is prohibited in all areas.
